Darjeeling Tea

So yesterday I went to this place I’d never been to, called Mcginnis Landing Restaurant (more of a sports pub really). It was rather cold outside so I asked the waitress what was there hot to drink. She suggested tea. One of the teas that she had I had never heard of, and being the tea lover that I am, I asked for the one with the strange sounding name. Anyway, the tea that I had as a result was something called “Darjeeling.” This particular one was made by Higgins & Burke which I’d never heard of, but apparently they’ve been making tea for nearly a century. I recommend it. It has a nice blend that, to me, tastes like a mild dark tea. The back of the label suggests that what they call Darjeeling is actually “Pure Black Tea From India.”

If you are in the mood to try out a pretty good tea and are a fan of dark teas, I recommend this one. Try it with a bit of sugar. I really think that makes it delicious. Or at the very least, you can sound posh by talking about exotic tea :)
